Goodbye 2010, Hello 2011

Welcome to Evan's brand new 365 blog! Here you will find one picture a day of Evan and a short description of the picture or of what is happening in his life. Comments are appreciated! :)

To begin, I'd like to share a picture for each of the past 12 months. In January 2010 Evan was 5 months old, and now he is nearly 17 months old. Time flies when you have kids!

New Year's Eve 2010:

January 2010:
Evan had just begun eating vegetables. This was his first taste of carrots.

February 2010:
I took this picture at Resthaven Memorial Park while visiting a friend's precious daughter who was born February 9th and passed away February 17th. To this day, this is one of my very favorite pictures of Evan.

March 2010:
Evan tasted his first meat - chicken. I didn't want to be the one to give it to him (I'm a vegetarian!), so Cody did.

Also this month, Evan went on his first vacation to Las Vegas! :)

April 2010:
Evan started walking with assistance! :)

May 2010:
Evan went to his very first charity walk, March for Babies, the first of many that he will do with Mommy. He "walked" for Nolan and Jillian, two babies who were born at 24 weeks gestation and passed away shortly after birth.

June 2010:
Evan & I spent the day by the pool for my 26th birthday. We had lots of fun!

July 2010:
This was Evan's last month of having long hair (picture). He got his very first haircut on July 31st so that he could look handsome on his 1st birthday.

August 2010:
Evan turned ONE! :)

I got a little creative with picnik.com.

September 2010:
Evan had a picture taken with his best buddy, Scout.

October 2010:
He had so much fun playing with his pumpkin.

November 2010:
The word "share" is not in Evan's vocabulary.

December 2010:
Santa was too generous. :)
